I decided to try my hand doing gift card holder cards for Valentine's Day. I am pretty happy with the first set that I have done. I did two different patterns, one with a traditional red, white and pink combo and another one that could also be used as a card for a wedding as well as Valentines.
Each card has a slide-able band with a mat topped with an embellishment of words and heart stick pins. that keeps the card closed. Inside the card there is a pocket in the middle that can hold a credit card size gift card leaving sides for writing a personal message.
Those are really cute! I love the pocket inside, that's a great idea. I can't make cards, I've tried - the creative juices to make cards, just isn't there.
